男：これから、みんなでペアになって「きもだめし」やるんだって。
Now, they say we are going to make pairs and do 'kimodameshi.'
女：なあに「きもだめし」って。
What is 'kimodameshi'?
男：このみちのさきにふるいおてらがあるんだ。そのおどうまでいって、かえってくるのさ。
There is an old temple in ahead of this way. We are going to its hall, then coming back.
女：へーえ。じゃあ、かんたんじゃない。
I see. Then it's easy, isn't it?
男：ふふふっ。そうかなあ。じゃあ、いってみよう。かいちゅうでんとう、もっていたっけ？

女：うん。だけど、まわりはまっくらよ。ぜんぜんみえない‥‥‥。だいじょうぶかなあ。
